經歷法國布爾日美院創作文憑（DNAP），法國尼斯美院高等創作文憑（DNESP），純藝術創作背景的擴張使游走於劇場、舞蹈、多媒體、樂團等領域，致力在不同媒材之中探求創化。
現居台北，以Ko.Image 的身份從事影像創作，觸及攝影、錄像、電影，2017年開始著手現場電影（Live Cinema）創作，目前為「Psycho Lab」以及「化渡VedicFormula運算」製作人，同時也透過舞者、薩滿等身份，研究肉體與精神作為資訊通道的展現形式，力圖在原始與記憶與數位科技之中，找到彼此對應的原型神話。
2017組成「PsychoLab」，於Osmosis滲透影音藝術節演出首部音像製作《ＭＥＧＡ-Ｘ》。2018組成「化渡VedicFormula運算」，與「回聲相」計畫合作音像實驗創作論述《Operation: 虛菩提\Subhuti》，於C-Lab當代文化實驗場發表。2019「化渡VedicFormula運算」製作第二部音像作品《Hz-Ajuna》，於C-Lab當代文化實驗場發表。2019受AAMP(Aisan Artist Moving Image Platform)邀至南韓首爾b39藝術中心，為當前研究舉辦表演講座（LeturePerformance）。
「創造的原型在現今多樣的藝術領域中，被個人主義與物質主義的基底義消減幾乎殆盡，『創造』的存在意涵在「思想至上」的領導下也所剩無幾，為了藝術而藝術的生態沒有任何出口，因此當代藝術的存在，對於人類的救贖沒有什麼幫助，自然也就無意義，甚至有害。」

在泡沫化的當代藝術的環境歷練後，選擇回歸「感受」，正如AphxTwin所言：「我們不談論音樂，我們只專心『聽』音樂。」沒有被藝術歸化的感受，自然能引領創作者展現最強大的創造本意。
作為樂手的紅雨，在Afrobeat樂團島國未來主義中，主侍節奏組傳統椰鈴（Shekere）一職，第二張專輯《海長老》已在2023年發行。在人米犬業製作團隊中主侍頌缽、月琴與唱誦，於2021艋舺國際舞蹈節《驁鹿》、2022台東藝穗節《虎刺梅X鹿野神社》、2023本草派對 《舞‧本草》等作品中，以感受為本，將一切音聲與肢體展現流動任運，不再解釋。
「原初的資訊即是無盡的感受，藝術的試圖將之分析歸化，如此只有衰減其義，並且永遠偏離創造的本意。」

KO Hung-Yu, born in Taipei Taiwan. He graduated with honors from Beaux-Arts de Bourges in 2013, receiving a DNAP diploma. Then tow years study in Villa Arson Beaux-Arts de Nice. Throughout his creative career, KO works closely with images, focusing on photography, video, film, and video installation.
