《抹片檢查》旨在表現女性如何內化社會加諸於墮胎行為的污名，並邀請觀眾一同感受墮胎過程中女性所經歷的羞恥、恐懼、以及罪惡感。

Pap Smear follows the journey of a pregnant girl who experiences an intense fear of abortion during the pap smear examination that she uses as a pretext, approaching the controversial theme of abortion from an emotional perspective rather than a moral debate.
